Who must notify?If you're the operator of a facility storing or handling Schedule 15 chemicals in quantities that may exceed 10 per cent of the prescribed quantity, you must notify us.
When must I notify?You must notify us as soon as practicable after you become aware of the circumstances that require you to notify us. This should be no more than three months.You can apply to us for a longer period to notify, if there is a reasonable excuse for a delayed notification.
Re-notificationYou must re-notify us if the quantity of materials present is to be increased or if the operator of the facility has changed.
